How to update the firmware of 4G LTE Mobile Wi-Fi

MERCUSYS is dedicated to improving and richening the product features, giving you a better network experience.

We will inform you through the MERCUSYS app or the web management page if there's any updated firmware available for your Mobile Wi-Fi. Also, the latest firmware will be released on our official website; you can download it from the Support page of our website https://www.mercusys.com for free.

Follow the steps below to update the firmware of 4G LTE Mobile Wi-Fi.

Note:

• Make sure that you have a stable connection between the device and your computer. It is NOT recommended to update the firmware wirelessly.

• Back up your device configuration before updating the firmware.

• Do NOT turn off the device during the firmware update.

• Features may vary from different MERCUSYS models.

 

Via MERCUSYS App:

1. Get the MERCUSYS app from App Store or Google Play, or by scanning the QR code.

Display MERCUSYS 's app icon along with a QR code for app downloads.

2. Launch the app and log in with your MERCUSYS ID.

Note: If you don’t have an account, create one first.

3. Go to More > System.

Locate the More and System option on the page.

4. Click Firmware Update. The MERCUSYS app will check whether new firmware is available. If there’s any new firmware, click Update. Wait for the update and reboot.

Via Web Management Page:

1. Online Update:

1) Visit http://mwlogin.net and log in with the password you created.

2) Go to Advanced > Device > Firmware Update.

3) Click Check for Updates. The system will check whether new firmware is available. If there’s any new firmware, click Update. Wait for the update and reboot.

Locate the Update via the cloud server. A Check for Updates button is displayed on the page.

2. Local Update:

1) Download the latest firmware file for the Mobile Wi-Fi from https://www.mercusys.com.

2) Visit http://mwlogin.net and log in with the password you created.

3) Go to Advanced > Device > Firmware Update.

4) Click Update via the local server.

Locate the Update via the local server. A Browse button is displayed on the page.

5) Click Browse to locate the downloaded new firmware file, and click Update. Wait for the update and reboot.
