Case 2. If the Operational Mode option doesn’t display on the Mercusys router's web interface, follow these steps.
1. Wire your PC to another LAN port on your Mercusys. Or you can connect your PC to the Mercusys router’s Wi-Fi.
2. Visit http://mwlogin.net or enter the IP address 192.168.1.1 on the URL field of the browser, and log in with your Mercusys ID or the password you set for the router. You can refer to How to log into the web-based interface of the MERCUSYS Wireless Router.
3. Go to Network > LAN Settings, Select Manual, and put in the LAN IP address for Mercusys router.
Note: The LAN IP address of the Mercusys router should be under the same network segment as the main router but out of the range of the DHCP IP address pool of the main router.
E.g., The main router's DHCP IP address Pool is 192.168.2.100 – 192.168.2.199, Subnet is 255.255.255.0, then you can put the IP 192.168.2.11 on the Mercusys router.
4. Go to Wireless > Host Network and configure the SSID (Network name) and Password. Select Save.
5. Go to Network > DHCP Server, switch off DHCP Server, and click Save.
6. Wire the main router to your MERCUSYS Router’s LAN port instead of the WAN port. ( See Below) The other LAN ports will now grant devices Internet access. The Wi-Fi devices can now access the Internet using the SSID and password set on the MERCUSYS router.
