How to use QoS on MERCUSYS 4G LTE Router

Creating a QoS (Quality of Service) rule can be used to specify the prioritization of traffic and minimize the impact caused when the connection is under heavy load.

For example, I have several devices that are connected to my wireless network. I would like to set a maximum speed on the internet for my PC.

Follow the steps below to specify a priority for some devices or applications.

Note:

• Features may vary from different MERCUSYS models.

1. Enable QoS and set bandwidth allocation.

1) Visit http://mwlogin.net and log in with your Mercusys ID or the password you set for the router.

2) Go to Advanced > QoS > Settings.

3) Select Enable QoS.

4) Input the maximum upload and download bandwidth provided by your Internet

service provider. 1Mbps equals 1000 Kbps.

5) Click Save.

Alt text: Display the checkbox to enable it and the blank space for entering the upload and download bandwidth.

2. Enable the priority QoS rule for the PC.

1) Find the connected device you want to prioritize and enable QoS.

Display device priority options for enabling the QoS.

2) Click Save.

3. The configuration is completed. Now, QoS is implemented to prioritize internet traffic.
