How to remove network profile or forget network on Windows, Mac, phones

This article mainly provides detailed guidance on how to remove the network profile of MERCUSYS routers through different devices.

 

• On Windows 7

1) Click the Start button on the bottom left corner of the screen.

2) Type and select Network and Sharing Center from the search result.

3) Select Manage Wireless networks

4) Select the Wi-Fi profile you want to delete, and then select the Remove button.

5) Select Yes to confirm.

• On Windows 8

1) Select the Wi-Fi icon on the bottom right corner of the screen.

2) Select View Connection Settings.

3) Select Manage known networks.

4) Select the Wi-Fi profile you want to delete, then select Forget.

• On Windows 10

1) Click the Windows icon on the bottom left corner of the screen.

2) Type and select Change Wi-Fi settings from the search result.

3) Select Manage known networks.

4) Select the Wi-Fi profile you want to delete and select Forget to delete.

 

• On Windows 11

1) Click the Start button in the taskbar.

2) Open Settings > select Network & internet on the left menu.

3) Select Wi-Fi > select Manage known networks.

4) Select the Wi-Fi profile you want to delete and select Forget to delete.

 

• On MacOS

1) Click the Apple icon on the top left of the screen > select System Preferences.

2) Select Network > Select Wi-Fi and then go to Advanced.

3) Select the network you want to remove and click on the button "-". Then click OK.

 

On iOS

1) From your Home screen, go to Settings > Wi-Fi.

2) Find the Wi-Fi network that you want to remove.

3) Tap the blue Info icon > Tap Forget This Network.

4) Tap Forget to confirm.

 

On Android

1) Open Settings (the gear icon).

2) Tap Network & Internet, then tap Internet.

3) Tap and hold the network you want to remove, then select Forget network.
