What should I do if the firmware update of my Mercury Camera fails?

What can I do if my Mercusys Cameras fail to update the firmware?

1. Restart Camera: Power cycle your router and the camera.

2. Check Network Connection: Move the device closer to the router for a better connection.

3. Use Mobile Hotspot: If needed, connect the camera to your phone's hotspot and try the upgrade again.

Why do some of my cameras update to the latest firmware while others do not?

Our firmware updates are released progressively, meaning that if you have multiple cameras of the same model, it's normal for some cameras to receive the update, while others may not detect the new firmware yet. This process typically takes a few weeks to a month.

If you prefer not to wait, you can enable the Auto Update feature under Device Settings > Firmware Upgrade. This will ensure that your devices automatically update to the latest firmware once the rollout is complete.
