How to change device name on the MERCUSYS app

Note: This article applies to a wireless router that’s compatible with the MERCUSYS app.

This article will take MR70X as an example.

1. Launch the MERCUSYS app on your phone. Log in with your MERCUSYS ID. If you don’t have one, create a MERCUSYS ID first.

2. Tap on the device that you want to change the name.

3. Rename it, and click the Save button.

4. Now on your MERCUSYS app, you can see the new device name.

Note: The customized device name will only display on your own MERCUSYS App. It will still show the default device name which is usually the model number of the device on the app on other phones.
