What can I do if I forget the password of my cloud account bound to the MERCUSYS wireless router?

This article mainly explains what a MERCUSYS account is and introduces two methods to recover the MERCUSYS account password, including the web management page and MERCUSYS APP.

 

Note:

1. This FAQ is suitable for MERCUSYS routers with cloud functions, such as MW305R, MR50G, MR70X, etc.

2. Currently, only some advanced routers support MERCUSYS APP management, and other models will be added to future firmware. You can click the compatible list to see which router supports MERCUSYS APP management.

 

A MERCUSYS account is bound to the MERCUSYS wireless router so that the customer can manage their router remotely.

If you forget the password of your MERCUSYS Cloud account, please follow the steps below to reset your password.

Method 1. On the web management page.

1. Connect your computer to the router either via Ethernet or wirelessly. Then open a browser, type http://mwlogin.net in the address bar, and press Enter.

2. On the web management page of the MERCUSYS router, please click Forgot password.

Display the Forgot Password position of the page.

3. Enter the email address you used for your MERCUSYS account, then click Next.

The information in Reset Your Password page.

4. A request email will be sent to your mailbox. If you don’t receive the email, please tap Resend.

Locate Resend icon at the bottom of the page.

 

Method 2. On the MERCUSYS APP.

1. Go to the Login page of the MERCUSYS APP and click Forgot Password. Then, enter the email used for your MERCUSYS cloud account in the Email box, and tap Submit.

Display the Forgot Password position in the app.   All information in Password Reset page.

2. A request email will be sent to your mailbox. If you don’t receive the email, please tap Resend after one minute.

Display the Resend position in the app.
