How to find network passwords on Windows, Mac, and phones

This article mainly provides detailed guidance on finding the network passwords of MERCUSYS routers through different devices.

• On Windows 7/8/10

1) Select the Start button > Settings > Network & Internet > Status > Network and Sharing Center.

2) In Network and Sharing Center, next to Connections, select your Wi-Fi network name.

3) In Wi-Fi Status, select Wireless Properties.

4) In Wireless Network Properties > Security > Show characters. Your Wi-Fi network password is displayed in the Network security key box.

• On Windows 11

1) Select the quick settings cluster in the taskbar.

2) Locate the Wi-Fi quick action.

3) Select Manage Wi-Fi connections and choose the network for which you want to know the password.

4) Click the Properties icon > Select Show next to the Wi-Fi network password.

• On MacOS

1) Click on System under System Keychains in the sidebar.

2) Click on Passwords at the top of the window.

3) Find the Wi-Fi network you want the password for and double-click on it.

4) Check the box next to Show password and enter your password when prompted.

• On iOS

1) From your Home screen, go to Settings > Wi-Fi.

2) Find the Wi-Fi network that you’re currently using.

3) Tap the blue Info button.

4) Tap the Password field.

5) Use your passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID to unlock and reveal the password.

• On Android

1) Open Settings (the gear icon).

2) Tap Network & Internet, then tap Internet > Saved Networks.

3) Select the gear icon next to the Wi-Fi name you’re looking for.

4) Tap Share under the QR code icon. A QR code to share your Wi-Fi and password will appear on your screen. The plain text password is under the QR code.
